DECORATING COOKIES

What you need
300 grams of icing sugar
2 egg whites
1/3 teaspoon of cream of tartar
Red food colouring
Pre-made biscuits
Baking paper
Hundreds and thousands sprinkles

What you need to do
Mix the icing sugar, egg whites and cream of tartar together until the icing consistency is firm but malleable.
Mix a little food colouring into the icing to make it bright pink.
Fold a square of baking paper and roll it into a cone shape, leaving a small hole at the thin end.
Spoon pink icing into the paper cone and squeeze it over the cookies, creating different patterns and shapes.

 

 

FRUIT SCONE WHEELS

What you need

Scone dough
Grated cheese
Sultanas
Apricots
Olives
Flour
A floured chopping board
Floured rolling pins
A blunt ended knife
A baking tray

What you need to do

Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape.
Scatter some sultanas, cheese and chopped apricots (or olives and cheese) over the dough.
Carefully roll up the dough into a log, and cut into whatever thickness you would like.
Place wheely scones on floured baking dish and cook in a hot oven (190 degrees Celsius) till risen and cooked, about 15 minutes.
